MAR 12 RECD

WILLIAM R. HULBERT, JR. 84 STATE STREET BOSTON 9, MASS.

March 10, 1947

Dr. Albert Einstein Emergency Committee of Atomic Scientists Room 28, 90 Nassau Street Princeton, New Jersey

Dear Dr. Einstein:

There is enclosed herewith my contribution in the amount of $10.00 to assist the work of your vitally important Committee.

If available, would you be so kind as to forward about a dozen campaign pamphlets and pledge cards so that I may use them in soliciting funds for your Committee.

Unless you have already made contact with the following, I would suggest them as possible mailing lists of the type of person you wish to reach:

The American Scholar subscribers The American Scientist " Atlantic Monthly " Harpers " American Bar Association membership American Patent Law Ass'n " Phi Beta Kappa "

I feel sure that you can secure the full cooperation of the Atlantic Monthly in this matter, if you do not already have it. As I have some contacts in that organization I shall be happy to assist, if you so desire.

Sincerely yours,

William R. Hubert, Jr. (signature)
