OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT
February 12 1948 Dr. Albert Einstein, Chairman Emergency Committee of Atomic Scientists, Inc. 90 Nassau Steet Princeton, N.J.
Dear Dr. Einstein:
I have your letter of January 20th together with the recent statement by the Emergency Committee of Atomic Scientists. As we are in complete sympathy with the objectives of your Comittee, we are glad to contribute the sum of $250 for your campaign of education. I am only sorry it cannot be more but there are many calls for funds these days, most if not all of them very worthy. Very sincerely yours, E.P. Hamilton EPH/FP encl.
