In an editorial published by the San Francisco Chronicle, it was asserted that funds are needed by Dr. Urey, yourself, and others for the dissemin- of atomic control information.
Please accept the enclosed check as a small contribution to your monumental task. The chilling threat of atomic war that seems to be drawing nearer day by day makes me wish that I could send you a thousand times more.
