Albert Einstein, Chairman Emergency Committee of Atomic Scientists 90 Nassan Street, Princeton, N.J.
Dear Professor Einstein,
Enclosed you will find my contribution to your fund. I really feel that I cannot afford to contribute even this small sum, but upon mature reflection it becomes obvious that no one can afford not to do all he possibly can to avoid the possibility of an atomic war.
If you care to send me a few more of your pamphlets: "Only then shall we find courage," maybe fire on [illegible], I shall be glad to distribute them among my friends.
Sincerely yours,
Peter Breymeier (Signature)
