Emergency Committee of Atomic Scientists:
Sirs:
Enclosed is my small contribution to the 'cause' for which you are collecting funds. Keep up the good work!
The dissemination of information to the rank and file about the misuse of atomic energy is of utmost importance I feel for 'keeping the peace.'
One angle - how about emphasizing the dangers to us of a mass atomic bomb attack on a foreign country thru the air-drift in the upper reaches of the atmosphere bringing radioactive gases over the US? assuming that there is material danger from this source. And also the angle of the results of mutations brought about by the explosions - particularly to humans? Information such as appeared in "letters" in Life a couple of months ago, on mutations.
