Arlington, Vermont Sept. 28, 1948
Dear Sir: Mrs. Dorothy Canfield Fisher would like to know how she can secure some copies of Norman Cousins' editorial in the Saturday Review of Literature for August 7, 1948, which you are sending out. Mrs. Fisher would like to include it, in the form in which your committee is sending it out, that is with quotations from Emerson, Montaigne etc, in her letters - those of them which are addressed to thoughtful enough people to make it seem possible that they would appreciate its splendid quality. Please reply directly to Mrs. Fisher. Sincerely yours, [Mrs.?] Helen W [Congdon?] Secretary to Mrs. Fisher
