Dear Prof. Einstein;
I have read with interest the statements and appeal for funds of the Emergency Committee of Atomic Scientists. I enclose my check for twenty five (25.00) dollars to the Committee. It seems to me that the brochure A Policy for Survival has outlined not all the alternative possible policies. It occurs to me that a 4th possibility could be: For the Western powers to create and maintain an armed force, or cooperative armed forces with some unifying committee with a single head at the controls, which force will command the attention of other powers during the discussions at highest government levels recommended under
