Mr. Albert Einstein, Chairman Emergency Committee of Atomic Scientists Inc. 90 Nassau Str. Princeton, N.J.
Dear Sir,
Enclosed please find my little contribution towards your great campaign. I fully agree with all you said in your letter and enclosed pamphlets, but from the standpoint of an ordinary retired working man, thinking just a little further than his nose is long, don't you think that for successful Atomic Control, a full economic control of the worlds resources and standards of living will be absolutely necessary. Take for instance the connection between oil and Man and our so called help to Greece and Turkey, and the damnable influence of Incorporated Capital in general upon the World conditions and eventual use of the Atomic weapons, I feel that you learned gentlemen, certainly must not overlook these evils, as a fact. I do not think you will, at least I do not hope so, but you certainly are taking a lot of hay upon your [illegible] and it will take a lot of nerve. Very truly yours for a safe and better World. Y.
