Emergency Committee of Atomic Scientists Princeton, N.J. Dear Sirs:

The subject of your appeal for funds is one that I have very much at heart and I want to do what little I can to help. There is something that seems wrong to me and I would like your opinion about it.
Already I have made contributions to The American Association for the United Nations and to the Citizens Committee for United Nations Reform and I have your Emergency Committee of Atomic Scientists and the 1947 Foreign Policy Campaign appeals on my desk. Is there no way of these efforts being joined to make one powerful organization?
You do not state how you are planning to do your work. My experience is that too many pamphlets are distributed and busy people do not have time or the strength to read them. I admire your lobby in Washington and the effort that the scientists are making. You realize the terrible danger of our situation and cannot you give a hint of how you will go about reaching and arousing the people to a feeling of responsibility.
I shall appreciate it if you can make your plans concrete to me.
      Very sincerely yours,
         Kathleen B. Robertson.
        (Mrs. Thomas Robertson)
