Afton, N. Y. March 30, 1947 Emergency Committee of Atomic Scientists 90 Nassau St Princeton, New Jersey Gentlemen: I consider it no small honor to be asked to help you in the great task you have undertaken. I regret that my contribution must be so small. I would like for you to know that I am working in the same direction as a member of United World Federalists of USA and in trying to tell as many people as I can about the urgent need for Federal World Government. I consider nothing else I do nearly as important as this work. Hence I feel proud to know that we are all working together toward the same great goal. I am young, 28, about to be married, a farmer on my own farm and $4800 in debt but I want you to know I feel the importance of your work hence this token of help. I wish it could be 100 times as much. Meanwhile I and my friends will continue to tell our story here in the grass roots country. Sincerely yours Robert G Latimer
