Gentlemen: I have read your letter of January 20th and the pamphlet by Mr. Albert Einstein with much interest and concern.

I believe that we must all become conscious, as this committee points out, and I enclose herewith my check for $50.00 as Mrs. Elmore's and my contribution to your Educational Fund.

I have a suggestion to make in this connection, and will appreciate your advising if you think it has any value.

Many concerns use a Pitney-Bowes Postage Meter, and it is possible, besides stamping the mail, to print an advertising message on the outside of each envelope when it is stamped.

It would seem to me that if you could get the list of all these postage meter users to adopt a uniform message, such as was used during the war to help sell war bonds, that it would give you a great deal of publicity, and I do not believe you would find anyone who would not be glad to use this form of publicity if it were brought to their attention by the committee.

If you think such an idea worth while, I will appreciate your saying what you would like to have used, and I will be glad to get a stamp made and use it on our meter.

In case you are not familiar with what I am describing, I enclose an envelope of the State Hospital Association, Inc., which is used and stamped in this way.

I shall be glad to have three or four extra copies of the pamphlet by Albert Einstein if you can mail them to me at your convenience.
