Dr. Albert Einstein, Chairman,
Emergency Committee of Atomic Scientists,
90 Nassau Street,
Princeton, N. J.
My dear Dr. Einstein:
In response to your letter of December 11 enclosed is check for your educational fund. I wish I could multiply it many times.
I am watching to see your methods of getting this vital information over to the masses. I suppose the radio and movies will be used. From the resolutions passed by veterans, those sometime ago in Boston and more recently in San Francisco, they are appallingly ignorant, and, judging by recent utterances as reported in newspapers, so are members of Congress who, unfortunately, are in key positions. I pray effective means can be devised to reach both masses and dicks.
With deep gratitude for your wise guidance,
Sincerely,
Margaret F. Cook
(Mrs. Margaret F. Cook,

Seattle 5, Washington.)
