Description
The Women's Building was completed in 1926 and was designed by architect John Bennes of Portland. The Women's Building was his only campus commission as a result of an open competition and was considered by many to be his masterpiece. The building was designed as a physical education facility for women and presently houses the College of Health and Human Performance with classes for both men and women.
