Jon Abernathy is an author and beer blogger. In his interview, Abernathy shares family stories, his experiences growing up in Alfalfa (10 miles from Bend), going to school in Redmond, and continuing his education at Central Oregon Community College and Eastern Washington University, where he obtained a BA in French. While attending university, he worked at a call center, a job that transitioned into data management and computer systems.
