Pauling Diary: "Westinghouse 1943." 1942 - 1945. Pauling records information about his travels and meetings in this diary. Much of
it is devoted to detailing his scientific war work as well as updates on World War
II itself. As part of this, Pauling notes his and colleagues' ideas on developing
weaponry for the military. He also documents events in the war including the sinking
of a submarine which was carrying scientific supplies.
