"Diary 1942." 1942. This diary contains entries on Pauling's meetings with various groups and individuals.
It also includes notes on his research for the U.S. military which required work with
various substances such as mustard gas. Pauling likewise records updates on his personal
physical condition - symptoms that would later be diagnosed as Bright's Disease.
