Letter from Linus Pauling to Leland H. Pence. June 1, 1942.
Pauling states that he is pleased that Pence will prepare the compounds needed for Caltech's immunology research and discusses payment for the materials. He recommends that Pence read Marrack's monograph as a general survey on the subject of immunology and gives instructions on how to obtain the document and other manuscripts which would be of use. Pauling notes that Pence's antibodies experiment may be worth conducting. Transcript.
