Letter from Robert Corey to Linus Pauling. January 22, 1940.
Corey writes to note that his research group will soon begin studying "the problem of spinning various native proteins from coagulating baths" for use in x-ray investigations. As such, Corey suggests that Caltech seek out cooperative relationships with industrial laboratories that might assist with the effort.
