Letter from William T. Astbury to Linus Pauling. March 19, 1937.
Astbury writes to express his enthusiasm at the prospect of meeting with Pauling during an upcoming visit to the United States.

19th March, 1937

Dear Pauling,

I was delighted to hear from you and to learn that I shall probably be able to arrange my visits so as to catch you at Pasadena. I am keenly looking forward to having a talk with you and other people in your part, and I shall be very disappointed if you happen to be away. However, it looks now as though I shall be in California probably towards the end of May. I am arriving in New York on the 11th April and as soon as I have fixed my plans more clearly I will get in touch with you again as soon as possible.

I have already heard from Sponsler and one or two other people in California, and I am quite sure that my visit there will prove both interesting and pleasant.
