Letter from Linus Pauling to E. Bright Wilson, Jr. March 15, 1951.
Pauling writes that he will not be able to accept a visiting professorship at Harvard as he needs to stay in Pasadena to continue propelling his program of protein structure research. He writes, "I am having a hard time to keep my feet on the ground now - I have been working night and day, neglecting almost everything else." Pauling also gives Wilson a sneak preview of his six protein structure papers forthcoming in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Science. Transcript.
