Letter from Dorothy Wrinch to Linus Pauling. February 9, 1937. Wrinch writes to express her disappointment at not being able to arrange a meeting
during her most recent trip to the U.S. and to suggest that a meeting in early 1938
might be possible, given the support of the Rockefeller Foundation.

Dear Dr. Pauling,
I was very much disappointed that it did not prove possible to visit you during my
time in the States. I am, however, still extremely anxious to sit at your feet. I
discussed this matter with Dr. Weaver before I left New York and he thought it might
be possible to arrange for me to spend a short time at your Institute some time during
next winter. May I ask whether you would favour such a proposal. I should also like
to consult several people in the genetics department if I came. If you think this
scheme would be satisfactory may I ask whether there is any specially favourable month.
I think it might be easiest for me to arrange January or February of 1938.
Kind regards,
Sincerely yours,
