history
I am an accountant, busy paying for a house (which I don't want "atomized"), raising a small family, studying for a degree, struggling meanwhile to make a living and recuperate and re-establish myself in civil life, after 6 unsettling years of service as an accountant in World War II, but can still find some time to spend in reading, thinking, and working to prevent a World War III. The effort may prove futile and to no avail: if it does, then I have nothing to hope for anyway, but if it succeeds, then my successors, at least, if not I, can look forward, with some expectancy to perpetual peace, and unknown, possible advantages from atomic energy directed along the lines of peaceful construction instead of warlike destruction. Yours sincerely W. Albert Robertson
