Dr. Albert Einstein Princeton, New Jersey

Dear Dr. Einstein:

For the fine work you and your committee are doing you deserve much more of a contribution than I feel able to make. I shall try to make up some of the difference by getting my friends to contribute and by making announcements whenever the chance arises.

I wish we had more people in the World like you, your committee, and Henry A. Wallace, who are dedicating themselves to World Peace with complete self-sacrifice, and with magnificent courage and patience.

Last night when I heard Wallace speak in Peoria, I was grateful to have heard from one of the speakers before Wallace that you had reviewed his "Toward World Peace" favorably, calling him a good man, also. A commendation from a public-spirited person, so dedicated to the cause of World Peace as you are, meant more to me than from anyone else I can imagine. The audience could not help but have been impressed.

It still seems a tragedy that men like you and Mr. Wallace have to work so hard just to get the truth to the people. You both should be allowed to spend all your time in directly guiding our Government'a policy.

My prayers and those of many Americans go out for the support and protection of you and the fine work you are doing in the cause of Peace.

Sincerely,

Polly Harmon (signature) Polly Harmon
