Description

In this interview, Walsh describes her early life with family and the influence that had on her. She also describes what life was like for her as an openly queer person, and talks about her journey to college, which was far from traditional.

Walsh goes on to describe her experiences at community college, Wellesley College, and New York University where she obtained her various degrees. From there, Walsh discusses her tenures working in student-focused positions at New York University and Lane Community College in Eugene, OR.

Walsh then moves on to her experiences at Oregon State University which started in 2018. In this, she refers to her roles and responsibilities as Student Engagement Coordinator for the College of Agricultural Sciences. She likewise discusses additional activities that she has led to increase student accessibility as well as promote diversity and inclusion.
