Dear Professor Einstein:
Enclosed you will find my check for five dollars ($5) to what is in my mind the most worthy cause in existence today. In your pamphlet you stress the necessity of carrying this fight to the villages. I shall be on tour of the States of Georgia and Florida during the months from January through May, 1947, and I have been instructed by our editor-in-chief, Dr. Flynn, to offer my services in the distribution of literature and any other publicity work which you may request in these states. Specifically, I shall be visiting the campuses of the various universities and smaller colleges.
Your letterhead does not indicate the whereabouts of a secretary or other official with whom I may consult. If you will advise me whom to see I will be glad to stop off at Princeton for a detailed discussion as to the exact services I can render.
Please let me hear from you at your earliest convenience.
Sincerely yours, Leon Vanderlyn Leon Vanderlyn Assistant Editor
