The Oregon State University History Students Association Records document activities and programs of this student organization for students majoring in history at Oregon State. The materials include event flyers, meeting agendas and minutes, memoranda to history students and history faculty regarding upcoming events, newsletters, and completed questionnaires seeking suggestions for speakers and activities as well as volunteers. Many of the memoranda were written by Paul Kopperman, as the faculty advisor for the History Club. In addition to business meetings, the records reflect various events sponsored by the organization such as public lectures by history scholars, history career fairs, movie nights, social events with History Department faculty, fundraisers, and an undergraduate research conference.

The Oregon State University History Club was active by the late 1980s with Professor Paul Kopperman as the Club's faculty advisor. In about 2006, the organization became the Oregon State University History Students Association. The Association sponsors a career fair and an undergraduate research fair.
