Abstract

The Paul H. Spillman Photograph Collection consists of images that document Spillman's student years at Oregon Agricultural College, his work as an Extension agent and his position as a member of the Board of Directors of the Pacific Wool Growers Association.

Scope and Content Notes

The collection includes a class reunion (fiftieth) group shot in 1957, as well as images pertaining to Oregon State including images of cadet formations (Spillman served as Captain of Company D), the Daily Barometer staff, and Spillman with other students at a dinner at the boarding house of a Mrs. Cummings in Corvallis.

Biographical / Historical Notes

Born in Portland, Paul H. Spillman graduated from Oregon Agricultural College in 1907 with a degree in agriculture. After college, he worked as a wheat rancher, an Extension Agent for Union County, and served on the board of Directors of the Pacific Wool Growers Association.
