Abstract

The James M. Witt Collection consists of chemistry and entomology syllabi, course notes, laboratory experiments, and related materials for courses that Witt took as a student at the University of California and taught at the University of Arizona.

Biographical / Historical Notes

James M. Witt was an Agricultural Chemist at OSU from 1966 until his retirement in 1989. From 1956-1966, he was an insect toxicologist at the University of Arizona. He earned his BS degree in chemistry in 1947 and Ph.D. degree in entomology in 1965 from the University of California at Berkeley.
