Abstract

The Elmo R. and Doris Mardis Tibbetts Collection consists of a photograph album, "College Memories, 1923-1930," and several loose photographic prints.

Scope and Content Notes

The collection includes images of Elmo and Doris Mardis Tibbetts and documents their student activities while at OSC, including the activities of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity, Zeta Tau Alpha sorority, the cadet band and the practice house. The collection also includes portraits of other students.

Biographical / Historical Notes

Doris B. Mardis graduated from OSC in 1928; Elmo Raines Tibbetts graduated in 1930. They were married in 1930.
