The Victor L. Bump Papers consist of a student handbook annotated by alumnus Victor Bump as well as two photographs.

The Victor L. Bump Papers contain a handbook that was published for the 1920-21 school year, which features notes on finances, formulas, and traits that define "success." The photographs depict two students studying friction in pipes and a venturi miter.

Born in Airlie, Oregon in 1900, Victor L. Bump graduated with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering in 1925.
