Scope and Content Notes

The collection includes photographs of Student Affairs employees: Judy Brazee (Dean of Students Office), Cliff Michel (Counseling and Psychological Services), Geri Page, and Glory Vilbig (Student Health Services). Also shown in the photographs are Jo Anne Trow and Larry Roper. The collection also includes photographs of the Alpha Lambda Delta initiation on 1 May 1983, as well as photos depicting the Interfraternity Council for 1995-1996 and student recipients of the Fire Safety Awards. The collection likewise includes images of prominent OAC/OSC athletes from the first half of the twentieth century.

Accession 2003:107 includes photographs taken by the Office of Student Involvement that were featured in the 1999-2000 and 2000-2001 editions of the publication, Guide to Student Life. The images primarily depict groups of unidentified students posed in front of offices and engaged in various activities on campus.

Accession 2004:050 includes two sets of a slide presentation titled "Trauma or Transition: the Handicapped and the OSU Community." The presentation was organized by Marilyn Johnston and the Handicapped Students Unlimited of OSU and was used by the Services for Students with Disabilities Office. With slight differences in a few of the images between the two sets, the slides depict students with disabilities navigating the OSU campus, using indoor facilities of various types, and involved in meetings. In addition to the slide presentation, there are also other images in this accession of students in wheelchairs in campus buildings and the measures implemented to assist them in elevators and bathrooms.
