Soviet leader Yuri Andropov

I respectfully ask that you take action on my request that Dr. Andrei Sakharov be given permission to leave the Soviet Union to take up an appointment in the Linus Pauling Institute of Science and Medicine. I suggest that such an action would lead to improvement between the Soviet Union and the United States and would be of benefit to the Soviet Union.
