Taylor Maiden
Taylor Maiden was born in Montana, and grew up in Cottage Grove, Oregon. Her father and mother were in the performing arts, as a singer and a costumer, respectively. Maiden started acting and dancing as a child. She and her family were in community theater productions together. She started doing costuming in high school, and then earned her theater degree from the University of Oregon.
In 2009, Maiden started her Burlesque career with The Broadway Revue in Eugene, teaching musical theater during the work week, and then doing Burlesque shows Friday-Saturday-Sunday nights. Over time, she developed a connection with the venue Spectrum and the Queer troupe, Unveiled. In 2015, she took a class at the All That Glitters Academy in Portland with Holly Dai and Tana the Tattooed Lady. She has also been to BurlyCon in Seattle, the only Burlesque Convention in the world, and attended many training workshops there.
