May 31, 1946.
Dear Dr, Einstein:
In answer to your telegram, I am enclosing check for $100 and hope that your campaign for funds will be successful. The condition is certainly alarming but the average person feels helpless in regard to it.
Mrs. Simon Kuhn has contacted me and we are trying to distribute copies of your telegram to organizations in this city who might be of use in collecting funds for your project.
Sincerely yours, Agnes Seasongood (Mrs. Murray)
