September 15, 1947 Emergency Committee of Atomic Scientists Room 28, 90 Nassau Street Princeton, New Jersey
Gentleman:
In replying to your letter of August 6 signed by Mr. Einstein, I am enclosing your blank and a small contribution. I have just returned from the Montreux Conference where I have undertaken commitments that are rather larger for me, not only in terms of direct contribution, but of very considerable expense in connection with the traveling that I shall be doing during the next few months. I shall read the literature that you have mailed with great interest.
Sincerely, Edward T. Clark Edward T. Clark
