history
Come on you did not stick to your statement and speak the same language - Do you [illegible] the war helped anything anywhere? It's a calam- ity that we went into it! If people like yourselves stood out against war when war is [illegible] [illegible] world make a dent in this awful futile system! I'm like Ghandi "if any blood is t be spilled let it be my blood." If I [illegible] [illegible] saved only by destroying thousands of other just as innocent people as myself then I don't want to be saved!
More than anything else in all the world I want to help stop war and it will never be stopped by getting ready for it! It's insane to expect people while pouring 90% of our wealth into war preparation! Why don't you scientists [illegible] yourselves in Washington and talk daily to men in authority? You have earned the right to be heard! Sincerely Mrs. Edward C. Bixler, New [illegible] [illegible]
