In this interview, Petersen shares his memories of founding, editing and publishing the Pauling Blog on the occasion of the blog's tenth anniversary. In so doing, Petersen recounts the origin story behind the blog's creation and traces its evolution amidst periods of institutional change within the Oregon State University Libraries. Petersen also comments on challenges, feedback, audience, memorable posts, and changes in his own relationship with the blog. The interview concludes with Petersen's memories of his early years working in Special Collections and studying as an OSU student.
