The Oregon Wildlife Federation Scrapbooks consist of three scrapbooks for the years 1960, 1961, and 1962 which summarize the activities and programs of the organization pertaining to various wildlife conservation issues in Oregon.

The scrapbooks include meeting minutes and reports; correspondence; resolutions; committee records; clippings; and reports and newsletters of affiliated local clubs including the Multnomah Anglers and Hunters Club, the Santiam Fish and Game Association, and the Powder River Sportsmen's Club. The photographs include images of special events such as award presentations and fishing and hunting trips.

The Oregon Wildlife Federation was established by representatives of Oregon sportsmens' clubs in 1936 and became affiliated with the National Wildlife Federation in 1938.

Processing Information: Because of water damage prior to transfer to the Archives, the scrapbooks have been disassembled and, where possible, materials removed from the scrapbooks. Selected pages of the scrapbooks, including the covers and water color drawings that served as section dividers have been retained. This collection is segregated from other Archives' collections and its condition will be monitored periodically.
