Abstract

The B. Sam Taylor Photograph Collection primarily documents logging operations and YMCA facilities in southern Oregon and southern Washington.

Scope and Content Notes

The B. Sam Taylor Photograph Collection consists of two series of photographs. The first series includes 230 slides taken by Taylor in the 1950s, primarily of logging operations in southern Oregon. The second series consists of photo postcards from the 1910s showing YMCA facilities and logging campuses, primarily in southern Washington. The second series was assembled by Charles Seeger, a friend of Taylor.

Biographical / Historical Notes

Sam Taylor graduated in forestry from Oregon State College in 1938.
