Abstract

The Agricultural Chemistry Department Records consist of reports, journal articles, publications, research records and a "Record of Analyses of Fodders and Forage Plants" created by the Station Chemist from 1895-1909.

Scope and Content Notes

The collection includes research records pertaining to the white muscle disease, fluoride, radiorespirometry, and other projects; forage analytical records; correspondence and reports; sample analysis cards; and related documentation. It also includes a list of department publications; department budgets for 1956-57 and 1957-58; a summary of department research projects (1955); and publicity about departmental research. Also included are notes pertaining to hops research that were created or collected by Agricultural Chemistry Department faculty working for the OSC Agricultural Experiment Station.
