Scope and Content Notes

The scrapbooks contain a combination of photographs, newspaper clippings, greeting cards, letters, event programs, certificates, dance cards, invitations, member lists, menus, ribbons, receipts, plastic flowers, poems, ticket stubs, newsletters, and candy wrappers. The scrapbooks document events at the house such as Mom's and Dad's Weekend activities, dances, Halloween parties, and initiation ceremonies. Attendance of members at national Kappa Delta conventions is also reflected in some of the scrapbooks which include narrative descriptions about the travels to the meeting as well as the convention itself. There are also announcements and clippings about engagements/marriages among the members. Some of the scrapbooks contain pages decorated by individual members that serve as biographical profiles.
