Series 4: County Timber Reduction Maps, 1950-1977 Add to Shelf
Series IV consists of information describing a positive or negative change in timber volume on forest cover base maps for certain sections in townships. The volume changes are on a relative basis with a ranking system for the regions. The majority of depletions occur due to timber harvest; however, depletions also result from natural events such as wildfire or wind storms. For some counties, township maps reflect the actual harvested areas for that township.
