Abstract

The Oregon Home Economics Association Records consist of membership materials and two scrapbooks containing newspaper clippings, photographs, and pamphlets relating to OHEA members, conferences, and the OSU College of Home Economics.

Scope and Content Notes

The collection includes materials, including two scrapbooks, documenting the administrative framework of the organization. These records also reflect OHEA's interaction with the American Home Economics Association, involvement in state and national conferences, and the activities of members. Also included in this collection are certificates of recognition from the OSU Extension Service and College of Home Economics, and gubernatorial proclamations concerning Oregon Home Economics Day and Home Economics Week in Oregon.
