Harold J. Evans Papers, 1947-1992

This collection includes article reprints, correspondence, course materials, curriculum vitae, employment records, grant proposals, newspaper clippings, photographs, publications, and research/lecture notes. These records also document Evans' participation in conferences/workshops, receipt of awards, role as instructor, and interaction with colleagues. The photographs are primarily made up of slides (numbering about 700 in total) developed and organized for lectures, and mostly depict statistical information on charts and graphs but also include plant specimens, laboratory research, and unidentified people (fellow conference participants, family members?). In addition to portrait shots, the photographic prints and negatives in this transfer (numbering 60 and 30 respectively) depict Evans in the laboratory and at conferences. There are also images of plant specimens and Cordley Hall ductwork.
