The Margaret Wynne Fox Photograph Collection consists of photographs assembled by Fox of Educational Opportunities Program (EOP) students and faculty. The photographs were originally placed onto her office bulletin board; she later transferred most of them into a photo album.
The images depict EOP students and faculty, including Fox, Janet Nishihara, and J.C. McGinty. Several group photographs of participants in the College Assistance Minority Program (CAMP) are part of the collection. Several of the images in the album are photographs of babies and children that were sent to Fox by former EOP students.
The album was digitized by Special Collections & Archives Research Center staff; digital versions of the individual photographs were provided by Fox. All of the original photographs have been retained by Fox.

Margaret Wynne Fox was an Assistant Professor in the Oregon State University Educational Opportunities Program from 1982 until her retirement in 2007. Fox earned a BS degree from Georgia Southern College in 1971 and her MEd and PhD degrees from Oregon State University in 1983 and 1992. Her doctoral dissertation used the Educational Opportunities Program as a case study for evaluating the instructional component of developmental education programs.
The Educational Opportunities Program was created at Oregon State University in 1969 to provide support for non-traditional students. These include students of color, older than average students, students with disabilities, single parents, low-income students, and students who have been rurally isolated. The College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) is a federally-funded program, established in 1988, to assist students from families of migrant and seasonal farm and forestry workers during the first year of college with enrollment, advising, and financial support.
