The Joe Cone Papers consist of materials created and assembled by Cone in the course of writing A Common Fate: Endangered Salmon and the People of the Pacific Northwest and include reference materials, correspondence, chapter drafts, and sound recordings of interviews pertaining to the history and sociology of the Northwest salmon crisis.
The collection includes 52 cassette tapes that require migration to a digital format and are not immediately available for patron use. Please see SCARC's "Accessing Audio-Visual Content" policy for more information.
The Joe Cone Papers consist of materials created and assembled by Cone in the course of his research and writing of A Common Fate: Endangered Salmon and the People of the Pacific Northwest. The Papers include correspondence, notes, and chapter drafts; reference materials such as legislative bill statements, meeting minutes, newspaper clippings, news releases, publications, reports, speeches, and statistical data; and sound recordings (52 cassette tapes), transcripts, and notes of interviews conducted by Cone and meetings he attended. The collection also includes computer files on CD-ROM.
