Abstract

The Floyd and Lilly Nordgren Edwards Collection consists of materials created and assembled by Floyd Edwards and Lilly Nordgren primarily during the early 1930s when Edwards was a graduate student at Oregon Agricultural College and Nordgren was an instructor in office training and secretarial science. Floyd Edwards earned BS (1923) and MS (1931) degrees in agriculture from Oregon Agricultural College (OAC). Lilly Nordgren earned a BS in commerce from OAC in 1924.

Scope and Content Notes

The Floyd and Lilly Nordgren Edwards Collection consists of materials created and assembled by Edwards and Nordgren during their student years at Oregon Agricultural College. The collection includes notecards on livestock management, probably prepared by Edwards as part of his graduate studies; dance cards; and publications and ephemera. The dance cards are for dances in 1931 and 1932; many were hosted by Sigma Phi Epsilon.

The publications and ephemera include a 1923 Commencement Program, the Oregon State Creed, and brochures with college songs and yells.
