The Agricultural and Resource Economics Department Motion Picture Films and Videotapes include two accessions.
Accession 2002:062 consists of 51 8 mm and 65 16 mm motion picture films made in 1956-1984 by Agricultural and Resource Economics Professor R. Donald Langmo of the harvesting and processing of fruit, vegetables, and other agricultural products in various Oregon, Washington, and California orchards and packing plants. Most of the films are identified and dated; a few of the films include description of the equipment being used in the opeartions. Footage of harvesting and processing of pears, peaches, cherries, apples, blueberries, onions, peas, filberts, pistachios, and turkeys is included.
Accession 2006:060 consists of 9 VHS videotapes documenting lecture presentations in 1994 as part of the Agricultural and Resource Economics seminar course, Economics and the Endangered Species Act (AREC 407/507).
