Scope and Content Notes

This collection includes the publication Endowed Scholarships and Fellowships at Oregon State University (1992); the OSU Foundation annual report for 1995/96; and the OSU Foundation's 50th anniversary booklet as well as the 2001/2002 annual reports and materials from a April 17, 2006 meeting of the OSU Foundation External Relations Committee. Also included are sound recordings on reel-to-reel and cassette tapes that were produced and collected by the OSU Foundation. Primarily public service announcements (PSAs) created for radio broadcast, these recordings also include two tapes of sample jingle music for PSAs and another cassette documenting a "humanities lunch" presentation by Bill Wilkins and President John Byrne. The 11 recordings consist of 5 reel-to-reel and 6 cassette tapes.

Pertaining to the Campaign for OSU launch and gala event on October 26th, 2007, the planning records included in this collection were compiled and placed into a notebook that includes presenter scripts, event timelines, seating diagrams, invitations samples, a cd featuring images of the event, a program, a dinner menu, a concept storyboard layout, and details of the anticipated "guest experience" at the event. The publications include a copy of the Winter 2008 edition of the Oregon Stater alumni magazine and brochures about the campaign individually oriented toward each of OSU's major colleges.

Among the subjects addressed in the reports include: fund-raising costs, OSU Foundation re-organization proposal, a report on Endowed Positions at OSU, annual reports for the OSU Foundation and the Agricultural Research Foundation alumni involvement plan, and financial statements on investments made by the Foundation.
