- Series 1 consists of an annual publication previewing the Oregon State College year. The magazine was written, edited, and published in the fall by the Beaver yearbook staff of that academic year for incoming freshmen to provide “a concrete picture of the college they are about to adopt as their home for the next four years”. The issues include the academic calendar; a campus map; sports schedules; guidance regarding wardrobes and campus fashion; and articles about campus traditions, sororities, fraternities and living groups, student government, and student activities.
